The Good and Bad of the Nintendo Wii

January 28th 2012 -

All The News That's Fit To Print! The release of the home video game console Nintendo Wii sparked a big interest among video game enthusiasts around the world. It boasted off a wireless technology where the Wii Remote is able to detect the movement of the person holding it in three dimensions. Over the years, it has stayed on top of the competition and has broken numerous records for game console sales.

Its unique motion-sensitive gameplay options are what this revolutionary console is all about. Further, it is able to connect to the internet via Wi-Fi so online games and services are directly downloaded into the gadget. It has an SD card slot for data and photo storage and viewing and is highly compatible with Netflix video streaming. One of the downsides to the Wii is that its controller eats batteries and would require some getting used to in order to properly maneuver it properly. It also does not have the advanced HD graphics that some gamers would want to have plus it is not able to play CDs and DVDs.

However, if you do not mind the seemingly lack of realistic appeal to its graphics; any gamer would definitely enjoy this game console. Its innovative controllers and emphasis on fun gaming should be more than enough to entice anyone to get one of their own.
